* Samsung's next big thing - the Galaxy S5- is said to arrive with 4GB RAM
under the hood. South Korean website DT reports that Samsung's next-flagship handset
may pack 4GB of RAM and a 64-bit Exynos 6 processor. As per rumors, the South Korean
giant is expected to announce the device early next year.
* Samsung is already selling the Galaxy S4 in the market.
Though the phone got bumper opening, but Samsung is not impressed with the response.
With Apple already launched its iPhone 5S with TouchID fingerprint scanner,
and more importantly the phone has 64-bit PC architecture;
Samsung may bring 64-bit processor supported handset in the coming months.
* These days Samsung is busy churning handsets with advance RAM.
For instance, the Galaxy Note 3 is the only Android powered phone having 3GB of RAM.
It is not clear whether Samsung would like to pack a 64-bit Exynos 6 processor
or use next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset to power Galaxy S5.
* Recently, according to ET news, Samsung has been forced to drop Optical
Image Stabilization (OIS) from the Galaxy S5. The reason for dropping OIS is not clear
at the moment. LG, Samsung's arch rival - is already promoting its flagship handset as
the best portable camera in your handset. The LG G2's camera uses Optical Image Stabilization
(OIS) feature. Under any circumstances, Samsung need to bring this feature to stay competitive.
Moreover, the Galaxy S5 would have a 16-megapixel camera sensor.
^ Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S5 could have an eye-scanning feature.
The said feature might be used to unlock the device. Moreover, Samsung is looking to
use metal chassis to make the Galaxy S5 look more appealing.
^ The Samsung Galaxy S5 is said to be announced in the month of
January /February 2014. The device is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display,
64-bit processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB of ROM ( expandable memory), 4G LTE-A,
waterproof and dust-resistant, Android 4.4 Kitkat, 16MP rear facing camera with
OIS and a 3000mAh battery inside.
